According to Yahoo news :
“LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean has sued beauty pageant organizers claiming she was wrongfully fired for saying marriage should be only between a man and a woman.”
The article goes on to say that pageant organizers are claiming the firing was for her not meeting her obligations but personally I would prefer it if they came out and agreed it was for her pathetic views.
It’s 2009 for goodness sake – do we really still hold out these outdated views that the commitment of marriage is only for heterosexual couples?
If the church wont accept it so be it – but a legal (non church) marriage of two consenting adult partners who are in love and wish to make a commitment is something that everyone should be granted.
I say booooo! to Carrie Prejean – beauty is as much about spirit as looks and sweetheart your narrow minded views make you ugly!!!!!
