Pregnant twice at the same time- not twins?

I am not talking about twins. Todd and Julia Grovenburg found out after a routine scan that they are expecting two children.

So whats the big deal – people have twins all the time right – its not so uncommon. The difference in this case is this woman in Arkansas has conceived her second child after the conception of the first – two and a half weeks later in fact!

This is an extremely rare medical occurrence called superfetation with only 10 other cases known.

Wow – Good luck to the couple and their amazing babies!

Thanks for the post.I learn something new…. Ok , I just want to take the opportunity to advise all pregnant women out there….. . within 2 weeks of pregnancy, you should go and see Gynaecologist (and not your regular doctor) to rule out ectopic pregnancy. This is from my experience.I just relized I was having ectopic after 9th week and luckyly it wasn’t too late.
